Spring is in the air, and while the days are getting longer and the weather is finally turning around, let’s be honest—there’s still nothing quite like a good binge-watch session

Whether you’re still recovering from the emotionally devastating (but visually stunning) finale of Shōgun, trying to make sense of the latest betrayal on The Traitors, or doing a comfort rewatch of The Bear before the next season heats up, there’s plenty more to get excited about.

It’s also officially Emmy eligibility season, which means networks and streamers are rolling out their biggest contenders before the cutoff. Translation? April is stacked. From breakout dramas aiming for awards buzz to returning fan favorites making their case for another trophy run, this month’s slate is anything but filler. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to jump into the shows everyone will be talking about come September, now’s your moment.

So before your weekends start filling up with springtime brunches, park hangs, and early vacations, carve out some time to dive into what’s new—and what’s absolutely worth watching.

Here are the best shows to stream this April:

Hacks (Season 4)

Synopsis: The Emmy-winning comedy Hacks returns for its fourth season, and the stakes have never been higher—or funnier. This 10-episode installment reunites the powerhouse duo of Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder as Deborah Vance and Ava, whose once-toxic, now-maybe-slightly-healthier partnership continues to evolve in the most gloriously chaotic way. As the pair set their sights on launching a late-night show, tensions rise, egos clash, and the pressure to make history builds. But if anyone can shatter ceilings with biting one-liners and perfectly timed shade, it’s these two.

Black Mirror (Season 7)
