In our family Halloween is practically a national holiday. The kids were so into it they made their own costumes and won the “scariest” and the “funniest” prizes every year. We’d decorate the house with freaks and ghouls and hang up pumpkin string lights to scare the heck out of the neighbors.
And then my little monsters grew up and moved away. But now they have kids of their own that I spoil silly on the spookiest night of the year.
