Born in Kosovo, pop diva Mimoza escaped the war-ravaged country as a child.
She and her family landed in Sweden, where Mimoza spent most of her childhood. Later, she moved to Germany, where she established herself as the go-to songwriter for other artists. Since deciding to focus on her career, she’s made a big impact, accumulating over 65 million streams on Spotify. Her debut release in Japan rocketed to number one, selling over 70,000 copies its first day. In Germany, her “I Heart U” became the theme track for Smart Car Germany’s ad campaign.
Love for Days
Fluent in four languages, Mimoza writes and sings in all four. Currently in Los Angeles, where she is working on her debut EP, Mimoza’s contagious pop sound showcases her distinct voice, hard-hitting rhythms, and compelling soundscapes.
“Love For Days” rides a potent pop melody flavored with syncopated rumbling percussion and surfacing shimmers from the synths. The buoyant flow of the music exudes heady elaborate impetus atop the hefty bass line and shifting boom of the drums suggesting a quasi-Latin cadence. I love the radiant pulse of the synths, injecting textured harmonic waves.
Mimoza’s voice is a hybrid of Madonna, Brittany Spears, and Taylor Swift, only brighter and more sensual, like honey mixed with liqueur.
“Love For Days” delivers stylish pop vitality, glamorous vocals, and a cogent rhythmic pulsation that’s irresistible.
