Who Will Win At The 2025 Grammy Awards?
Grammy Winner Predictions

Every year, I have a good grasp on who will win at the coveted Grammy Awards. Most of the time, it’s honestly kind of obvious that one album rises into pop culture popularity above others…that one artist has made a bigger mark on the industry this year.

However, 2024 proved to be a huge year for music. Don’t believe me? Let me put it into perspective.

Charli XCX gave us BRAT, which embodied an entire color and mindset for the summer. Chappell Roan’s Coachella performance skyrocketed her into superstardom, making The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess one of the most popular albums.

Taylor Swift released The Tortured Poets’ Department, detailing love and loss from relationships with Matty Healy and Joe Alwyn, while also mentioning current beau Travis Kelce. Sabrina Carpenter changed the trajectory of her career with “Espresso,” catapulting her into her Short n’ Sweet era.

Billie Eilish took over the charts with “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” from her third album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, which debuted in May 2024. Country music is more popular than ever, with help from Morgan Wallen and artist genre crossovers.

Speaking of country, Beyonce made history with COWBOY CARTER, her foray with country music. With features from iconic country artists and other genre crossers like Post Malone, the album is a hot topic for the year.

There have been many unexpected renaissances during 2024, which is why this year’s Grammy Awards are going to be interesting.

I’ve already done my early predictions for who will win this year’s Grammys…but now that the Awards are a little over a week away, it’s time to make my final guesses.

After spending weeks scouring the internet, revisiting the nominated albums, and taking in the public consensus, I’m ready to give you my 2025 Grammy Winner predictions.

Album Of The Year: BRAT by Charli XCX

I said it once, I’ll say it again: BRAT is your 2025 album of the year. I know it will be potentially controversial, but genuinely hear me out.

While Swift’s TTPD deserves its own category of awards for breaking records thanks to fan dedication and proven valor, Swift is a four-time winner in that category whose other wins eclipse the success of her current album.

BRAT defined a season. We literally called everything “BRAT” for the entire summer. The color green is now synonymous with the term.

Not only is it one of Charli’s most daring musical submissions to date, it’s her most commercially successful by far. There’s no hate to any other album nominated, but this one deserves to be recognized for the pop culture impact alone.

Record Of The Year: “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” by Billie Eilish

Record of the Year celebrates the entire production of a song, which is why I’m giving this to Grammy darling, Billie Eilish. You know that beautifully produced album needs to win something, and I can’t say enough about the production abilities of both Eilish and her brother, Finneas.

“BIRDS OF A FEATHER,” in my opinion, takes a slight edge on Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” simply for the maturity and progressivism of Eilish’s music. Billie is showing that, although she’s been around for a while now, she’s not going anywhere.

Song Of The Year: “Good Luck, Babe!” by Chappell Roan

If Billie wins in Record of the Year, then Song of the Year has to go to Chappell. A radio hit, the song that catapulted her into the mainstream, the viral hit deserves its nod. Not many have had quite the meteoric rise that Chappell has had, she’s the next big thing in our eyes.

So, with all that being said, Chappell should be receiving honors in at least one of the big four categories.

Best New Artist: Chappell Roan

Here we are again! Billie Eilish swept the Grammy’s her first year, and while I don’t see Chappell beating out the big guns this year…she’s a shoo-in for Best New Artist.

With Sabrina Carpenter being the main contender, I think the extreme rise in Chappell’s listeners and fame overall gives her the edge. While this doesn’t discredit the popstar year Carpenter is having, it’s just undeniable that Chappell is our Best New Artist.

Producer of the Year, Non-Classical: Daniel Nigro

Nigro is one of the best producers in the pop music game right now, and while Ian Fitchuk could easily be a winner in this category…I’m going with my gut.

With Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS album and Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, you can’t really deny the sheer star-power of his discography…that’s not to mention his work on Rodrigo’s acclaimed debut, SOUR.

Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical: RAYE

Not only can RAYE sing with the best of ’em, but she’s also one of the most talented songwriters available. Luckily, she’s getting more recognition in the US as a singer, and her songwriting demand has never been higher.

With tracks like “RIVERDANCE” for Beyonce, “Ask & You Shall Receive” for Rita Ora, and “Dear Ben, Pt II” for Jennifer Lopez, RAYE is showing she has what it takes in all accounts.

Best Pop Solo Performance: “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter more than deserves a Grammy for “Espresso,” which was an anthem for the summer immediately when she released it at Coachella. And while she may not get any Big Four recognition due to such a stacked year, I think she will definitely get a nod in the Pop Solo category.

This is not the end of her tenure as a Grammy-nominated artist, and I’m sure we will see Sabrina back on that stage in no time…accepting a somehow even bigger award.

Best Pop Duo/Group Performance: “Guess” by Charli XCX and Billie Eilish

It’s hard not to give the award to the duo who are separately nominated for Album of the Year. Both Billie and Charli are nominated in the Top Four categories, which is an insane accomplishment in itself. While I do believe it’s between Beyonce and Charli for this category, the impact of “Guess” is undeniable.

Best Dance/Electronic Recording: “She’s Gone, Dance On” by Disclosure

A long-awaited, highly anticipated track that deserved every ounce of the hype it received, pre- and post-release.

Teased at Dom Dolla’s Coachella set, Disclosure’s track is everything you love about electronic music. High spirited, catchy, and explosive, the longtime favorite powerhouse delivered with this one.
