Under Armour:
We were excited to give Under Armour a shot since it’s such a well-known, big-store brand. But we’d never considered it to be our one-stop shop for activewear before. One of the first items we tried was their UA Tech™ Polo and the UA Training Stretch Shorts. The color swatches were great, the fit was comfortable. And we appreciate that the material dries quickly, even after an intense, impromptu basketball game.
However, the general consensus was that the polos, tees, and a few of the shorts started to pill and fray after a handful of wears. It got to the point where we all agreed that we couldn’t wear them in public anymore, not even with basic sweats.
Much of their selection of tees, shorts, and performance pants start at $30-40 bucks, so you won’t break the bank initially. But we suspect your budget will stress out as you start replacing pieces sooner than you thought.
