Although Ariana used to get Botox and fillers pretty regularly, it’s been a while since she’s relied on this guilty pleasure to enhance her appearance. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 31-year-old revealed that she was “four years clean” from cosmetic injectables.

The “Dangerous Woman” singer explained, “I really wanted to be transparent as a beauty founder, as the founder of r.e.m. Beauty.”

For context, Ariana launched r.e.m. Beauty November 2021 and her makeup quickly became a trailblazer in the beauty industry. The brand has been compared to Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics and Fenty Beauty by Rihanna.

Ariana’s desire to be the most authentic version of herself as the face of her makeup line speaks volumes about her mindset. In 2023, she told Vogue, “I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper. And I laugh more and more. I just think aging can be such a beautiful thing.”

In the Hollywood industry, women are unfairly scrutinized and then judged if they do anything to counteract aging – a harsh double standard that rarely applies to their male counterparts. It seems Ariana is taking a firm stance against these shenanigans. Botox and filler are two common “guilty pleasures” for most celebs, but not for Ariana anymore.

It turns out that Ariana appreciates watching interesting TV shows every once in a while. According to Collider, she admitted that she loves binge-watching Love is Blind on Netflix. This particular reality TV show is a common guilty pleasure for pop culture lovers everywhere, thanks to the gleefully cringe-worthy concept.

It focuses on a group of singles who date in pods, never seeing each other face-to-face. They’re not allowed to meet in person until after they get engaged! Once they finally meet, some couples realize they’re not attracted to each other, like – AT ALL. These individuals prove the point that love is not blind. 

In other cases, there are rare couples who stay together for the long haul. For Instance: Lauren and Cameron Hamilton from Season 1 are a perfect example. Reality TV offers a simple escape, helping distract viewers from the ups and downs of their own lives. 

Love is Blind is so attention-grabbing, it’ll make you forget those real-world struggles. It’s close to impossible to stress while watching contestants participate in one of the most bizarre social experiences ever! Are Ariana Grande’s Guilty Pleasures a Distraction?

Ariana no longer worries about Botox as a guilty pleasure, but she can never get enough of Love is Blind. Is it possible she’s leaning into her current guilty pleasure as a distraction from the current scandal she’s embroiled in? 

As previously mentioned, she’s dating Ethan who had a very-very public, and messy divorce from his ex-wife, Lilly. Ethan and Lilly share one child, and according to Lilly, the divorce was far from amicable. 

Lilly released a personal essay in The Cut that began with, “How does my divorce make you feel? As a therapist, I tried to keep my personal life private. After my public split, that was no longer in my control.”

She made it abundantly clear she never expected her marriage to end in divorce, nor did she expect the details to become so drastically widespread. But . . . that’s precisely what happened after her ex-husband started dating an international pop star. 

Whether you believe Ethan’s relationships with Lilly and Ariana overlapped or not, Ariana has worked hard to shut down the affair narrative. Still, plenty of people remain angry and flustered by the chaos surrounding it all.
