According to TV Insider, Sydney is top of the list for the legendary role of Paris. An adaptation of her best-selling book Paris:The Memoir, the series is still in development and is set to premier on TV.
Paris published the bestselling memoir in 2023, and tons of readers flocked to purchase it for an inside look at the glamorous blonde and her private life behind closed doors.
When asked about the series with Extra, Paris gushed, “I am so excited to be producing this with Elle and Dakota [Fanning]. They are so sweet. I love them so much. They are so just, smart, beautiful, kind, lovely, and so talented. We’re doing it with A24 as well, just White Lotus and Euphoria and all the most amazing shows, so it’s very exciting. It’s going to be so iconic.”
Keep in mind that Sydney has already stunned audiences in White Lotus and Euphoria – and that’s our first clue that Sydney may have been selected for the role of Paris.
When asked about who’s actually been chosen to star, Paris remained coy AF. She said, “It’s a surprise. I can’t tell. She’s blonde. She’s iconic, beautiful, she’s an incredible actress, and people are going to be blown away when they see this.”
When interviewers at the Oscars red carpet from E! tried to yank more information out of Elle, she also kept it pretty tight-lipped.
She said, “I can’t say much about it. But we have gotten to work really closely with Paris, which is just a dream come true to get to say that she’s become a friend. I was so obsessed with her when I was young.”
Sadly, fans won’t know for sure until an official announcement is made. Sydney herself has yet to say one word, even though she’s super active on social media. A second major clue that Sydney may have been chosen is an Instagram post shared on February 24.
Sydney uploaded a thread that started with a pic of herself cozied up next to Paris. Her caption read, “Always the best parties with the queen of fun @ParisHilton.” If you ask us, that shout-out says a lot!
Who Else Could Be Cast as Paris Hilton?
If Sydney doesn’t get cast as Paris, it’s gonna bum out a lot of her fans. Many people are excited by the prospect of Sydney taking on the role in a seductively classy manner.
On the other hand, there are few other actresses who have the talent to dazzle audiences like Sydney. Madelyn Cline from Outer Banks could possibly tackle the role. Anya Taylor Joy is another beautiful actress who could potentially pull it off.
Oh, and let’s not forget the incandescent Millie Bobby Brown — another fabulous actress to consider as Paris. But wait-wait, she’s currently busy doing her best to snag the role of Britney Spears in a separate biopic. So, maybe not. While several actresses could convincingly portray Paris, many fans are holding out hope that Sydney will be the one chosen for the role.
