Do Sydney Sweeney’s fans have reason to be concerned about her relationship with fiancé, Jonathon Davino? Sydney and Jonathon have been engaged since 2022, but it looks like they’re pushing their wedding date even farther away than it was originally set.

Let’s rewind to the first time paparazzi spotted Sydney and Jonathon together. Initially, they were romantically linked in late 2018 after attending a few Hollywood events and parties together. 

In 2020, they were photographed packing on the PDA while vacationing in Hawaii. By the time 2022 rolled around, Sydney was seen rocking a diamond ring on her left hand. It was her way of revealing she was engaged to marry Jonathan. 

Fans have been foaming at the mouth about Sydney and Jonathon’s upcoming nuptials for quite some time. But, now that they’ve decided to postpone their wedding, some people are concerned they’ll never actually make it down the aisle.

Although the reporters from TMZ tried to reach out to the pair to uncover the juicy reason/s for the postponement, they didn’t get much of a response. For this update, all we know is that the couple is blaming their busy schedules. 

Given how busy they are with their careers, it’s easy to see why they’d want to delay their wedding until they have fewer obligations to worry about.

Infidelity Rumors Have Plagued Sydney and Jonathon‘s Relationship

Postponing the wedding between Sydney and Jonathon probably wouldn’t be much of a big deal if it weren’t for so many past infidelity rumors. While Sydney was filming Anyone But You with Glen Powell, it was widely believed they were secretly having an affair on set. 

Sydney later shut that narrative down, explaining that she and Glen played into the affair speculation to boost the movie’s box office. She also revealed that Jonathon was on set the entire time, “proving” that nothing was going on between her and Glen. 

Now that she’s filming The Housemaid, fresh tea is brewing about Sydney secretly hooking up with co-star Brandon Sklenar. The film’s set to premiere later in 2025, which means these rumors will likely stay in circulation for a while.

When Will Sydney and Jonathon’s Schedules Clear Up For Their Wedding?

If the skittish couple truly postponed their wedding date to wait for their schedules to clear, we’re left wondering when that will actually happen. Sydney’s career alone is packed with exciting projects that keep her constantly on the move. 

She’s set to star in Euphoria Season 3, which was officially announced back in 2022. She’ll be reprising her role of Cassie Howard. In January 2025 we heard that Sydney’s set to star in Masque of Red Death. 

Let us not forget that Sydney’s starring in a biopic about a female boxer named Christy Martin. Then there’s Echo Valley featuring Julianne Moore and Sydney as mother and daughter in the horror flick. 

And if that’s not enough, Sydney will e starring in the remake of Barbarella, a reimagining of the 1968 classic starring Jane Fonda. This new project is just one of many fitting into her busy schedule. How will Sydney ever keep up with her shooting schedules? The girl is fire!

Although . . . not too long ago, she posted a pic of herself kissing Jonathon while they were enjoying the holidays together with some friends! From the looks of that, we won’t assume there’s too much trouble in paradise for Sydney and Jonathon.
