I am the ultimate girly-girl. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with all things beauty and fashion. Growing up, I was voted “best dressed” in high school and I’ve always loved to give my friends fashion advice. But I’m from a small town and I don’t really have easy access to big city finds — the closest shopping mall is over an hour away. Online shopping is definitely great, but I’m hesitant to try new and unknown brands and I end up returning a lot. I usually fall to the brands I already know and trust, which has become boring for me. I follow a lot of fashion bloggers on Instagram and I recently saw one post about FabFitFun. She loves it because her lifestyle is busy and they’re the best at finding the latest trends. I decided to sign up for a membership because it sounded like something that would be perfect for me and I really admire her style so I trust her taste in everything.

FabFitFun is a seasonal subscription box that sends you the latest products, everything from fashion to health and beauty. The boxes are sent four times a year, and you can always expect to receive the trendiest selection. All the products they send are full-size which I absolutely love because I don’t like the idea of sample-size products cluttering around month after month. Each box is always valued at $200 or more with brands found at high-end shops like Neiman Marcus, Barney’s and Sephora. They always include a good variety of products so your box never feels repetitive and it keeps you up-to-date on every trend across the board.

I had just missed their Winter Box when I signed up and was sent their signature Editor’s Box instead. I learned quickly that they sell out of their seasonal boxes and it’s no surprise why – they are amazing. My Editor’s box couldn’t come soon enough, thinking about it arriving was the only thing getting me through the work week! So, when I saw my FabFitFun box sitting on my front door step I may, or may not have, slightly yelled in excitement. I literally opened the box as soon as I walked into my house, I didn’t even bother taking off my coat and hat. The first item I grabbed out of the box was a BB Dakota poncho in mulberry. I have heard of the brand but never had a chance to try it. I fell in love with the poncho and like that it’s so versatile – I can dress it up or down and wear it to almost any occasion. This brand is now on my list of “go-tos” and I’ve found some great items on their site. The second item I pulled out has been something I’ve been dying to try – a silicone makeup applicator. I’ve seen so many beauty bloggers using them now and for some reason it’s been an item I keep forgetting to pick up. It works like a charm. There were so many more goodies, but one of my favorite items was the Private Party gym bag that reads “Will workout for cupcakes.” It’s so cute…and so true. I usually just stuff my gym clothes into my oversized bag, but I love carrying this around, so I’ve been putting it to good use.

Because I am now officially a member, I will not be missing out on next season’s box. I did some digging around on Instagram and saw that in their last Spring Box they had one of those round tie-dye beach blankets and Luv AJ earrings. Those two items alone are usually splurge items for me. From what it looks like, FabFitFun boxes only get better with every season so I know the Spring Box will be just as amazing. For any other small town girl out there, this subscription is definitely worth it, trust me.
