Annihilation

Based on the series of novels in the best-selling Southern Reach Trilogy by Jeff VanderMeer, get ready for a sci-fi thriller to twist your mind inside out. Given the fact that it’s 70º in February in New York City, it’s not hard to believe there’s a global climate crisis. What’s a little more wild is when an entire island has chosen to forgo all laws of nature. After her husband’s life is put in danger on his exhibition trip to this place, his biologist wife decides she must go there herself and see if she can stop whatever is at work.

7 Guardians of the Tomb

If that still above doesn’t terrify you than feel free to process with caution. A horror movie in every sense of the word, a group of friends makes an unsettling discovery that should have been kept buried forever. Upon finding an old labyrinth, they find that it is actually the old tomb of an emperor, his mummified remains inside. But if you remember anything from history class, you know you’re not supposed to go bothering the dead, otherwise there might be some consequences to pay (like flesh-eating spiders coming out to hunt). Step inside this perilous world, if you dare!

The question now is how do these strange beings learn to adapt to the new environment they’ve taken over? As these guys become undead, they’ll have to figure out how to deal with the consequences from the mistakes they made in their first lives, otherwise society will once again be torn apart by the things that eat us up inside.

And our ⭐️ TOP PICK ⭐️ …

Game Night

Usually the idea of playing board games with your friends brings to mind opening a bottle of wine, eating some snacks, and a bunch of laughs. Someone getting kidnapped and having to deal with thugs and FBI. However, that is exactly what happens when Max and Anie hand over the weekly duties to Mac’s brother, Brooks, who has a secret life they’ve never known about. This murder mystery party is turning into the case of trying to solve an actual murder! Sounds like one heck of a night.
