How is it that I have every TV subscription service out there, but I still feel like I can never find anything good to watch? Back in the day, I used to go to Blockbuster and the DVDs were organized by category where I could rent half a season of my favorite show and watch a few episodes at a time. Fast forward 15 years, and today an algorithm recommends shows based on that one sitcom I watched once when I was feeling braindead. It feels like I can never find a great show, and when I do hear about something I’d like, it’s undoubtedly never available on Netflix. Thankfully, one of my friends recommended Sundance Now – she says it’s where she finds all the good shows she can’t find anywhere else.
Sundance Now is an on-demand streaming subscription service that offers exclusive content including critically acclaimed TV Series, Award-Winning Movies. Unlike other streaming services, Sundance prioritizes quality entertainment over quantity. With Sundance Now, you get unlimited access to these shows and movies without interruptions or commercials, and can stream on all your devices. They have a wide variety to choose from; anything from drama and thrillers to original series and the classics. I’ve found a lot of good series that I had wanted to see, but forgot about, and have discovered new ones I’ve never heard of.
Every time I open the app, I find plenty of things that catch my eye, and many of the shows from my want-to-watch list are available there too. Within a week of signing up, I had watched two things I’d been wanting to see for a while: the docuseries, Cold Blooded, based on the infamous crimes documented in Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood, and the Sopranos-esque McMafia, the critically acclaimed UK crime drama. I binge-watched the TV Series Riviera – a dark crime show starring Julia Stiles and I just got hooked on this great mystery mini-series Innocent, something I’d have never heard of without Sundance Now. Next on my ever-growing viewing list is the British he-said-she-said thriller, Liar, and the political thriller Next of Kin with Archie Panjabi. Sundance Now has become my go-to place to stream content I can trust that I’ll love, and I feel like I’ll never run out of new things to watch. The price might be my favorite part – starting as low as only $4.99/month. For less than the price of a box of popcorn, I get endless streaming with Sundance Now.
In the past, I’d end up on the couch trying to find something to watch, but would inevitably just end up settling for another rerun of The Office. Now, I’m finally getting around to some amazing and beautifully written and series. I’m no longer turning my brain off on the couch – and I love that. For all of us who are tired of having “nothing to watch,” Sundance Now is the answer.
Plans for Sundance Now start as low as $6.99/monthwith no commitment! Interested but not sure? Stream for free for 7 daysand see what you think!
