YogaClub Sends You The Best Brands For The Best Prices!
When I lived in Toronto, I used to go shopping all the time. But ever since I moved to the suburbs, where my “town center” is literally one sleepy street, I’ve resigned myself to the limited styles in our single department store. My normal gym outfit would be slouchy sweatpants and an old cotton T-shirt. I used to think I didn’t care until my trendy younger sister came to visit and introduced me to athleisure. She wore designer workout clothes that were cuter than almost everything in my closet, giving her that perfect blend of stylish without looking like she even tried. After I tried on almost everything in her suitcase, my sister let me in on her secret – YogaClub.
What Is YogaClub?
YogaClubis a subscription box that sends you a unique outfit 100% hand curated to your individual style. They send you 3 pieces a month (a top, sports bra, and leggings), from high-end brands. You end up getting $160 worth of athleisure for only $79 (USD), so you’re getting 60% off the retail price! Most of the brands they carry aren’t usually available in Canada, like Niyama Sol and Onzie, so it’s great that YogaClub can ship them to your doorstep. When I’ve ordered from US brands in the past, I’ve gotten slapped with massive tax and duties fees at customs. But with YogaClub, what you pay for is what you get, and there are no more hassles at the post office.
What goes in your box?
Before you sign up, you take a short style quiz that asks you specific questions about your sizing, color preferences, and what styles you like. My sister prefers bright patterns while I like dark muted solids, and while she’s perfectly fine working out in a sports bra and spandex, I have a fuller figure and prefer leggings with loose tops. That’s why I loved that I could be explicit about definitely not wanting to expose my midriff (unlike my sister). I took the quiz and couldn’t wait for my first outfit to arrive!
What’s the verdict?
The pretty pink box arrived about a week later. I got a super flattering pair of olive green Teeki leggings and a mesh sports bra from Manduka, plus an adorable Free People top that I could wear post-gym as well as to dinner. It was amazing how YogaClub managed to perfectly peg my style, especially since I’m usually picky and have trouble finding clothes I love on my own. It was also fun to discover new boutique brands and be able to wear them even though they don’t usually ship to Canada.
A couple of months later, and I’ve successfully replaced a lot of my less stylish activewear with clothing I love to wear in and out of the house. Don’t assume that you need to give up on cute clothing if you live in the countryside! YogaClub comes straight to you for an affordable price so you can stay on-trend no matter where you live.
