Reddit Found A Hidden Message on the Mars Rover's Parachute

Decoding the red and white stripes revealed an inspiring messaged from Nasa's Jet Propulsion Lab.

Does the parachute for Perseverance have some sort of hidden message or code in it? Seems like the red bars are specific, maybe like the wheels of Curiosity?

Last week the world watched as NASA landed its fifth rover, Perseverance, on the surface of Mars.

After travelling around 300 million miles through space, the capsule that delivered Perseverance entered the Martian atmosphere going over 12,000 miles per hour, stabilized its descent, deployed a parachute, shed its heat shield, then dropped the rocket-powered sky crane that lowered the rover safely to the surface of the planet, inside the Jezero Crater. So, you know — NASA business as usual.

In the first week of Wall Street trading in January of 2021, stock in the video game retail chain GameStop (NYSE: GME) hovered at a price of around $18 per share.

Less than three weeks later, on Wednesday morning those same shares were fluctuating wildly between $250 and nearly $400. This kind of growth is unheard of for an established, brick and mortar retail chain — especially when a pandemic is keeping people indoors.

So what did GameStop do to deserve this incredible rally? Absolutely nothing.

If her followers were a nation, they would be the 8th most populous on the planet. But the citizens of Kardashia (Kimeroon? The United Kimdom?) will not be receiving any diplomatic news or thirst traps from their dear leader on Wednesday.

As she announced on Instagram on Tuesday, she is taking part in the one-day boycott of Instagram and Facebook organized by Stop Hate for Profit and promoted by other celebrities, from Katy Perry to Leonardo DiCaprio.
