Since September, every Sunday has been reserved for football. It’s the only subject anyone can talk about: the all-consuming, seemingly endless football season that has America in a chokehold…and I’m no exception.

It seems like every polo we own is either too boxy, starts to fade after a few washes, wrinkles easily, or has a misshapen collar. The result is not being as comfortable or looking as presentable as we can for the same amount of money and effort. That's why Mack Weldon designed a polo with the perfect fit the way they do for underwear, and with Spring finally here, we wanted to try it for ourselves. Here's what we found.

1. It's ridiculously soft and breathable

Mack Weldon knows quality fabrics. They designed their micro mesh fabric by combining Pima Cotton into fine threads and finishing with a micro-mesh construction. The result is the softest and most breathable polo you will ever wear - no more stiff polos that trap all the heat. One of our editors, Bryan said "it's probably the softest shirt I've ever touched," the moment he took his out of the plastic.

2. It keeps you cool and dry.

The lightweight knit fabric using micromesh combed cotton that keeps you feeling cool all day long. You can't see it unless you hold it up to the light, but there are tons of tiny perforations for a deluxe airy feel. So when it's hot or you're playing golf, it's a lot cooler to wear, and you won't sweat as much. A GQ insider says, "It's the pro tip to looking sharp this spring without the embarrassing sweat."

3. It's stylish and crisp.

Typical polos are usually too boxy or wrinkle too easily. The Vesper polo has a perfectly tailored fit. It's a slim fit, but the fabric is forgiving, so it's never tight or uncomfortable. Turns out, it's modeled after James Bond's timeless polo that looks sophisticated while still giving you a laid. Another one of our editors jumped on the bandwagon. She shot dibs on one for her husband, so we know the girls like them too.

4. The collar won't fade and the collar won't curl.

Just like Mack Weldon aims to fix what's wrong with all men's basics, their mission extends to their polos and they promise no fade or curled collars. After several wears and washes, the navy polo is the same color as the one we never took out of the package, and the collar stayed put. We were skeptical this could be true, but their promise held up every time.

5. You can wear it anywhere.

The Vesper polo is super versatile. Paired with shorts, jeans or slacks, this polo is a no-brainer for the weekends. And tossing it on under a sport coat during the week is a comfortable and easy way to take a break from lame button-downs.
