Back in February we told you that Rihanna was preparing to release two new albums this year: one being her eighth studio album, and the other a concept album based on the upcoming animated Dreamworks film, Home, in which she voices the lead character.
The movie was originally due out on November 26, but Dreamworks has now decided to switch its release date with the next Madagascar sequel. Home will now arrive on March 27, 2015, while The Penguins of Madagascar will take the November slot.
With the movie pushed back, it’s a given that the accompanying soundtrack will be delayed too. Not to worry, though, since Riri still has her next studio album on the way, and things will probably work out better now that the two won’t be released on top of each other.
You can check out an animated short from Home below, but unfortunately, it doesn’t feature Rihanna or her glamorous co-star Jennifer Lopez.
