Nine Muses Newbie Sungah Scores the Cover of Maxim Korea

Nine Muses’ latest (and hopefully final) new member, Sungah, is giving her bandmates a run for their money in the sexy stakes as the March cover girl of Maxim Korea. For a group like Nine Muses, who are known just as much for their looks as they are for their music, a scantily-clad photo spread is an absolute must for all members — especially new ones who need to prove themselves.
This isn’t the first time that Nine Muses have posed for Maxim. They covered the magazine shortly after the release of their first single, “No Playboy,” in 2010, appeared again right before their 2011 “Figaro” comeback, and then Sera did a solo cover shoot early last year to promote “News” and “Ticket.” Now with Sungah gracing the pages of the men’s mag in 2013, Nine Muses have been featured in Maxim every year since their debut.
As we posted in our weekly K-pop chart roundup, the Muses are currently enjoying some real success for the first time in their career thanks to “Dolls.” After peaking in the top twenty, the jazzy single just spent its fourth consecutive week in the top forty, breaking a string of flops and one-week-wonders for the group.
Check out some photos from Sungah’s Maxim spread, below.
