The Only Answer You Need to Know From Beyoncé’s Super Bowl Press Conference

Beyoncé held a press conference today on the NFL Network to address questions of both her recent performance at the Presidential Inauguration, and her upcoming performance at Super Bowl XLVII. To sum up, she:
1. Sang the National Anthem live and straight-up to prove that she could (because that was totally something that we doubted)
2. Explained why she song along to a pre-recorded backing track, NOT lip synced, for the Pres and Michelle (“I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra…due to the weather, due to the delay, due to the no proper sound check, I did not feel comfortable taking the risk”)
3. Teased some upcoming revelations, possibly about an upcoming tour (“”I may have an announcement after the performance, and the fans should just stay tuned to see.”)
But throughout the wholly redundant and sporadically patronizing press conference Q&A, one question was burning on everyone’s minds, that a Danish reporter given the privilege of asking Bey the last Q of the conference finally dared pose her:
What color is your toothbrush?
Beyoncé, tickled somewhat and not even appearing all that surprised at the question, answered it straight:
I think it’s blue…blue-and-yellow maybe.
Well, phew. Now we can all put the controversy of the last few weeks behind us and move on to the next chapter of Beyoncé’s career, knowing that she definitely, without a doubt, has a blue-and-yellow toothbrush, maybe.
