Although lacking the steel drums, Bruno Mars changed things up by performing his #1 “Locked Out Of Heaven” on Jimmy Kimmel Live as a reggae track–the normally new wave/funk hit substituting a traditional tropical beat for it’s funk signature.
The Hawaiian-born, half Puerto Rican Mars definitely has enough sunshine in his bones to pull off reggae. Just look at that hat!
Mars also performed the celebratory track, “Treasure”:
