Listening to Big Boi Read Christmas Stories Should Be Your Newest Holiday Tradition
Posted by Videoson 12/18/2012 at 12:12 PM
New holiday traditions are born each year, and gathering your children around the fire to watch attentively from an iPad as Daddy Fat Stacks reads a Christmastime classic is no exception.
Courtesy of Noisey, Big Boi’s live narration of the classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas! is a must-see this season and the perfect follow-up to DMX’s “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” In the clip, all begins as expected with Big Boi welcoming those at home to a festive story time and reminding us of each and every name Santa has needed to use in order to delivers his presents each year. Given his stage presence, Big Boi’s skills as an orator come as no surprise, particularly when he throws in hand movements to illustrate plot points or moves things along on the back of a homemade beat (4:23). The joyous occasion ends with his warm wishes for a happy holiday and seasons “skeetings,” and our belief that 2012 will now be known as the best Christmas yet. Watch below.
