Just Give Pink and Nate Ruess One Reason to Release a Single Together

Pink has apparently caught the collaboration bug: Only a day after releasing a tortured love duet with T.I., the “So What” singer recently told a French TV station that her latest single off The Truth About Love would be her team-up with fun. singer Nate Ruess.
If you’re counting, that makes two out of the album’s three singles so far that operate outside of Pink’s normal rocker comfort zone—”Try” is a redemptive Kelly Clarkson-style ballad, while “Just Give Me A Reason,” befitting its pedigree, has the music-theater flourishes of a fun. song. Is this just a brief detour, or is the century’s most underrated pop star permanently mellowing out as she gets into her 30s?
Pink says a video for the song is coming soon, but until then we’ll just have to enjoy the typographical pleasures of the official lyric video:
