Can You Tell Taylor’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” from Rihanna’s “We Found Love”?

Thursday, on her 23rd birthday, Taylor Swift premiered her 23rd music video (by some counts). ”I Knew You Were Trouble,” like the song that soundtracks it, the video is an emotional account of what it’s like to be seduced and then ditched by a charismatic bad boy. But while we were watching it, we couldn’t help noticing that its technicolor seediness felt very familiar to another infamous music video, released barely one year ago. (Interestingly enough, that clip too had a plagiarism scandal of its own.) Just how similar is Taylor’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” to Rihanna’s “We Found Love”? Just examine the pictures below, and see if you can tell them apart!
Which pre-song spoken-word section comes from each video?
“I think when it’s all over, it just comes back in flashes, you know? It’s like a kaleidoscope of memories when it just all comes back. But he never does.”
“You almost feel ashamed that someone could be that important, that without them, you feel like nothing.”
“I think the worst part of it all wasn’t losing him, it was losing me. “
