When it comes to country music not recorded by Taylor Swift, we generally cover it the same way many Americans go to church: only for weddings, deaths and major holidays.
Still, we would be remiss in not informing readers of the latest news from country trio Lady Antebellum: Singer Hillary Scott will soon be welcoming a baby with her husband Chris Tyrrell. As country fans know, Tyrrell is the group’s drummer, thus making this future child the world’s first Baby Antebellum.
Scott announced the news in a heavily exclamation-marked post on Lady Antebellum’s official Facebook page:
Chris and I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed!!!
Lady Antebellum has pushed back their tour schedule to accommodate Scott’s pregnancy. After playing college football’s Belk Bowl in Charlotte on December 27, the group will take a break until the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo in February.
