Those confined to their couches received an early holiday present last night, in the form of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which finally got around to airing on CBS after a November taping. Justin Bieber continued to campaign for the white after Labor Day while Bruno Mars let statuesque beauties walk around his fedora and Rihanna, a model—of cannabis-related fashions—in her own right, performed “Diamonds” and “Phresh Out the Runway” among the tall and gangly things.
In addition to her frisky spirit in the presence of half-naked ladies—girls after her own heart!—Rihanna’s been a champion of a certain ’90s style trend of late, as seen at the VS show and her recent 777 tour. And whether she knows it or not, she’s also paying tribute to Brittany Murphy’s performance in Clueless thanks to her recent affinity for tying a sweatshirt around her waist. For example…
