As Election Day moves forward, those eligible American voters are braving long lines to make their choice for president of the United States known. Reminder: If you can’t vote—or simply want to do it again—take our poll! While a snapshot from inside the booth makes for a popular Instagram addition, you should heed the warnings of Questlove and others and understand that photographing your individual ballot is a big fat no-no in certain states.

That’s not a problem for Barack Obama’s close friend, Beyoncé, who posted three photos of herself doing the deed earlier this morning. Do you realize what this means? Beyoncé, the bravest public servant of them all, is risking her own vote being deemed invalid for the good of Tumblr users everywhere.
