Whatever happened to true WUB-WUB-WUB?

After nearly a year together, soulmates-in-haircut Skrillex and Ellie Goulding have broken up. According to Us Weekly the relationship’s public life ended the way it began: with the mag citing an anonymous source close to the couple. But while earlier the unnamed friend could only gush how “awesome” and “good together” the “Lights” singer and her dubstep dude were, now the (same?) source has only sadness and regret: “It’s over. There’s no bad blood. Just a classic case of long distance being impossible.”

Our thoughts go out to the pair, who always did seem like a good pair of level-headed kids trying to do their best in a crazy industry. But if Goulding is on the lookout for a rebound fling, we’ve noticed tons of guys in the game who rock the same look as her ex. If we had to choose, we’d go with G-Dragon; look at those tresses!

In all seriousness, we wish Skrillex and Goulding the best. On the plus side, at last we’ll finally get to find out what a dubstep breakup song sounds like.
