Memorizing the choreography featured in Solange’s “Losing You” and copying her look weren’t for naught: She has a new solo EP! And it’s coming out next month—as in, four weeks from now. Let’s party!
True, Solange’s first release since 2008′s Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams, will be available digitally on November 27. Take a look at the tracklisting below and cast your vote as to whether “Locked in Closets” is a female response to R. Kelly’s newly revitalized series. (We hope yes.)
1. “Losing You”
2. “Some Things Never Seem to Fucking Work”
3. “Locked in Closets”
4. “Lovers in the Parking Lot”
5. “Don’t Let Me Down”
6. “Look Good With Trouble”
7. “Bad Girls”
According to Pitchfork, Solange previewed her latest material at a listening event in New York City this week. Beyoncé and Jay-Z showed up to provide support, leaving the door open for Katy Perry to swoop in and charm the Obamas in their absence.”Bad Girls” who love “Trouble” seems to be something of a trend in 2012; we’re excited to hear Solange’s take on the subject.
