Stand Up, Canada: Justin Bieber Sings National Anthem During Vancouver “Believe” Stop

Wednesday night marked the first Believe show on Canadian soil, as Justin Bieber rolled his tour into Carly Rae Jepsen’s hometown of Vancouver—or, as we hope someone actually calls it, “Van City, Van, Van City, bitch.” In addition to the threat of vomit, Bieber infused his set with a little national pride. For those who weren’t in attendance, the video below shows him leading a hearty sing-along of the Canadian national anthem (“O Canada” for you xenophobes) and celebrating Thanksgiving two days late. It’s the thought that counts, and it’s nice to see Bieber can relax at home after what’s likely been years of holding the desire to say “eh.”
In addition to this musical display of Canadian nationalism, Bieber decided to rattle off a list of why his native country is so great. “We’re just so much nicer than everyone else,” he told the crowd. Look out, world: The Bieb is talking smack.
