Say this about Nicki Minaj: She’s consistent. Ads for the Harajuku Barbie’s new Pink Friday fragrance have just been released and in each, Nicki has styled herself to appear identical to the tiny bust that houses her first signature scent. She also appears to be wearing a very similar wig to the one she donned for the cover of Pink Friday, the album.
Via press release, Nicki had this to say about the perfume, which is available for pre-order now (the initial demand was so strong that the first shipments have already sold out). “Pink Friday is a celebration of my life at this moment; it is a reflection of me as a creator, and an expression of me as a woman. I know my Barbz will connect with and appreciate each aspect—from the name, to the outrageous bottle design, to the vibrant colors that create their own song.”
In the ads, Nicki wears what appears to be custom crystal-encrusted heelless platforms by Giuseppe Zanotti as well as a pink tutu, a pink cropped leather jacket and pink knee-length leggings. Sense a theme here?
