Drake’s not the only one invoking the ghost of the late R&B star Aaliyah. While the sound of Azealia Banks’ “1991″ is more “Vogue” than “More Than a Woman,” the song’s video has Banks looking very much like the beloved singer (below), who is being musically resurrected 11 years after her death with the recent “Enough Said” “alongside” Drake, and a promised posthumous album produced by the rapper.
Banks is certainly aware of her mimicry, tweeting:
