Ryan Gosling was a Mouseketeer once, which puts him within one Bacon number of half of early-2000s and, come to think of it, late-2000s pop artists. It means he’s always been an eager-to-please stage kid. It means that of course he went on stage and sang “When a Man Loves a Woman” and did a dance-off to C+C Music Factory. (Two things that also mean you could date this video pretty much exactly even if you weren’t told it was young Gosling.) It means he does a rather good job–certainly an energetic job–and that he’s adorable while doing so.
