Earlier this week Drake said he wanted to give fans a second chance at Summer Jam, in light of recent events, and Saturday night’s installment of the Club Paradise tour proved he has the a significant crew in his corner, and a potential career as a booking agent. Following yet another YMCMB headline-making fiasco, Drake managed to allude to his atypical Wednesday night in front of a crowd of 15,000 fans at Jones Beach. ”When I woke up this morning, I had to think about a lot of things,” he said as he took the stage. “But the only thing I gave a fuck about was that I was in New York City tonight.”

With Breezy’s tweets and injury Instagrams, as well as the claims that Drake could be arrested for his involvement, we’ve all been waiting to hear Aubrey’s response to the alleged scuffle. Canada had yet another moment as The Weeknd joined Drizzy to perform Take Care collaboration, “Crew Love,” making up for those missed opportunities at Coachella, and the original Dipset members took the stage, making all of Jimmy Brooks’ Degrassi dreams come true. ”This is something that I gotta do for New York,” Drake said, before welcoming Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Cam’Ron to the stage. As exciting as it is to hear two of Toronto’s children perform together live, it’s hard for their musical creation to compete with the stupid happy grin and flapping wings Aubrey sports while Jones runs through “We Fly High.” Watch below.
