Exclusive: Hear The New Neon Trees Song, “Trust”
Whether you’ve seen (or heard) Neon Trees on Glee or a recent string of Buick commercials, the band continues to build off the momentum created by 2010′s breakthrough hit “Animal” with their innovative brand of alt-pop. A new LP promises the same kind of catchy dance soundtrack heard in “Everybody Talks,” the Pop-Off winning track that’s proven the ability to withstand the winter chill and serve as the perfect welcome to barbecue and pool party season. Popdust is lucky enough to present you with the premiere of the band’s latest single, “Trust,” off their forthcoming Picture Show, out April 17. What begins as more of a mid-tempo piano ballad, quickly borrows heavily from the ’80s power synths of Human League, creating a scorching commentary on essential ingredient for a functional relationship.
Along with a first listen, fans can download a poster for the track and print at home. Because jamming to a new song isn’t quite right unless you have the matching decor to go with it. Listen below.
