My, they grow up fast. It seems like only yesterday that Blue Ivy Carter was but a rumbling in Beyoncé’s VMA-performing stomach, and now here she is, a full-fledged, wet-haired human being. The first known pics of B.I.C. were posted to Jay-Z’s Life and Times website, with the simple heading of “Glory.” At first blush, Blue Ivy does seem to share visual elements with both her parents—Bey’s lighter skin, perhaps, while unmistakably the Jiggaman’s flat nose. At the very least, she seems a far cry from the Blue Ivy visualized by Dr. D’Lynn Waldron some months ago, which is probably best for Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s being able to sleep at night.

Enjoy the cuteness and stillness while we can. As Vulture aptly points out, she will one day be ruling us all.
