One Direction Puts In Work Before The BRIT Awards

In the style of “For Your Consideration” ads used in advance of the Academy Awards or Golden Globes, British boy band One Direction has launched their own campaign to help foster proper recognition in their homeland. Yes, while the group may warrant mild street riots and car chases across London, they still need to flash a little leg in hopes of rounding up the necessary votes for BRIT Awards glory. Boy bands are a thing again; the competition is tough. In the video, the boys sweat, stretch and lift their way to physical greatness for the benefit of viewers at home. Below lies the hope that extolling their own virtues—musical and otherwise—will help make a difference to potential voters, and that their growing arm muscles and sweatband preferences will make a difference to athletes everywhere.
