British rapper Tinie Tempah had a decent 2011 too, you know, if you measure success strictly by successful crossovers. (That successful crossover, of course, being “Written in the Stars,” with U.S. single “Till I’m Gone” more of a crossover in name only.) Last month brought his Happy Birthday EP (downloadable here), with guests both British (Giggs, Wretch 32, etc) and American (J Cole, Big Sean, etc.)
And here’s the video for “You Know What,” featuring a couple seconds of the city, a couple seconds of the club and women therein, a couple seconds of planes and stock tickers, only a few of which are rendered as graphics, and many seconds of Tinie from many different angles. Watch below:
