The Popdust Files: coldplay, late night with jimmy fallon, mylo xyloto, upcoming tours

Welcome, friends, to another session of Dancing with Chris Martin. The Coldplay frontman’s moves were on display during the band’s Wednesday night performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, albeit slightly because of the acoustic guitar trapped around his midsection for new single “Charlie Brown.” There’s much more emphasis in the legs, yet the neon colors and anthemic choruses remain. The band also announced plans for the upcoming Mylo Xyloto North American tour, which kicks off April 17 in Edmonton, Alberta. From April through August, the guys will make their way to Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami, as well as the beautiful, New York City-adjacent East Rutherford, New Jersey. Watch as Gwyneth’s husband engages in typically Martin-esque dance moves and check to see if the boys are stopping in a city near you, below.
