Grammy nominations are here! But all the surprises, disappointments and confusion did not come without a collection of performances during last night’s announcement special. Because The Recording Academy might possibly feel somewhat guilty about their decisions, they need to assuage our concerns with a televised concert. Three-time nominee Lady Gaga was on hand to perform two singles from Born This Way, “Marry The Night” and “You and I,” the latter being a duet with Sugarland. Watch below as she trades verses back and forth with Jennifer Nettles, who does her best to challenge Gaga’s love for Nebraska and New York with a few shoutouts to her home state of Georgia. As Nettles voice booms over Gaga’s piano chords, Mother Monster can only answer with diva fingers, while sporting accentuated dark circles around her eyes. Get some sleep, Stefani! 2012 is going to be a busy year. Kidding, Gaga’s smokey eyes are further proof of her fascination with 101 Dalmatians. Someone better add these two to the diva supercut ASAP.
