Jimmy Kimmel celebrated his second annual National UnFriend Day on his late-night show Thursday, acknowledging that many of us don’t in fact give a crap if those former college acquaintances of ours have successfully completed their third marathon. Facebook has created a series of confusing relationship questions since its inception, the most troubling being the way a “friend request” plays into traditional mating rituals—does that come before the first date or after? Luckily Biz Markie was on hand to break things down to all interested male suitors, lest they find themselves clicking through all of her tagged photos and liking each of her repetitive, “LMFAO”-heavy status updates. Markie reenacted his classic “Just A Friend” for the FB generation, advising one to take caution with current contacts and just cut the cord before former flings take that dreaded trip to Disneyland.
