Pink to Act in Actual Movie

Ever see Catacombs? Probably not, since it was released not to theaters but to FEARnet On Demand in October 2007, but it marked Pink‘s acting debut as Carolyn, evil raver sister to Shannyn Sossamon’s Victoria. Half a decade later, it appears that the pop star is actually ready to act in a proper movie, with the theatrical release and real director and whatnot. Thanks for Sharing, out in 2012, will feature Alecia Moore along with Oscar nominees Gwyneth Paltrow, Mark Ruffalo and Tim Robbins, and younger actor Josh Gad, who apparently will bond with the “free-spirited” Dede (played by Pink) as a fellow sex addict.
Screenwriter Stuart Blumberg (The Kids are All Right) has said that Pink “could not be a more ideal fit for this role…she carries with her just the right combination of heart and edginess for the part of Dede, and we’re incredibly excited to share her acting talent with audiences.” What, you’ve never seen Catacombs either, Stuart? C’mon, man, you’re in the industry.
