Radiohead Doing an Hour-Long Stint on "The Colbert Rpeort"
Posted by Newson 09/19/2011 at 9:06 AM
The Colbert Report has apparently never done an hour-long episode before, but perhaps they’ve never had a reason for one as good as this—a special guest appearance from modern rock heroes Radiohead. In addition to sitting down for an interview with the bespectacled host this Sept. 26th, Radiohead will be playing four songs over the course of the show, including cuts from their 2011-released (and somewhat quickly forgotten) The King of Limbs, as well as new cut “The Daily Mail.” Sez Colbert in a statement, “I look forward to meeting the Radioheads and leveraging their anti-corporate indie cred to raise brand awareness for my sponsors.” So do we, Stephen. So do we.
