Forgive us, but E! already took the good headline: “Justin Bieber Gets His Way.” The inspiration for such punnery comes courtesy of 11-year-old Caroline Gonzalez, who was named mayor for a day in her hometown of Forney, Texas. Gonzalez’s first of business, before passing a bill outlawing racial discrimination in the workplace and writing up the proposal for a neighborhood watch initiative, was to get one of her city streets named after everyone’s favorite 17-year-old Canadian.

“Because I really like Justin Bieber,” Gonzalez said by way of explanation when asked why she decided to dub a road in her fair city “Justin Bieber Way.” “I like his music and I like him. And I thought, why not have a street in my hometown named after my favorite singer?” Geez, if only all politicians were so straightforward about their nepotistic tendencies. And plus, it might end up sparking local tourism efforts—if you live within 100 miles of Forney and don’t make a pilgrimage to Justin Bieber Way, what the hell kind of Belieber are you, anyway?
