Kanye and Jay-Z to Tour Behind “Watch the Throne”

“Watch The Watch The Throne Tour!” proclaims the headline. OK, not really, but Jay-Z and Kanye West (gotta keep switching which one we refer to first so as not to offend either) did just put out a press release announcing the dates for the inevitable-probably Watch the Throne tour, featuring the pair of hip-hop kings taking on 24 of the world’s most regal sporting arenas. The tour will begin at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit on September 24th, and last until the TD Garden stop in Boston on November 3rd. Call it Best of Both Worlds 3 tour, except don’t at all, because it might result in you getting pepper sprayed.
Oh, and if you still pay attention to things like album release dates, we have a confirmed one for that as well—Watch the Throne will be dropping on iTunes August 8th, the same day that tickets for the shows become available. As expected, Frank Ocean, Beyoncé and Otis Redding will all be appearing on the album, though which, if any of them will be appearing on the tour with them is yet unknown. (Fingers not particularly crossed for Otis.) Here’s the full list of tour dates:
