New Miranda Lambert Album “Four The Record,” Will Exist Come November

Why should Blake Shelton have the only big upcoming country album? Marriages should be equal partnerships. At least that’s one explanation for Miranda Lambert coming out with a new album of her own, Four the Record, set to be released November 1. (The other explanation, of course, being that Lambert wants a continued career.)
Four the Record isn’t technically her fourth album, but because one of her four is a self-released album that essentially happened before her career, it might as well be. And, of course, the title means she’s joining the proud tradition of “four” in album titles, if not the numerical tradition. Although the pun places her more firmly in the Skylar Grey tradition.
That’s about all that’s known about Lambert’s solo album. Yes, solo–the adjective’s there for a reason, because her girl group Pistol Annies–Lambert and fellow musicians Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley–is coming out with their own release, the pun-jacking Hell on Heels, on August 23. It’ll feature the following song, and again, that’s about all we’ve got on that.
