Kelly Clarkson leaks tend to come with two things, at least if last year’s “Cleopatra is any indication: high quality–even in demo form, it’s better than 75 percent of All I Ever Wanted‘s singles, easily–and violent rebuttals like “I’m so tired of disrespectful, lying, sneaky little trolls that pretend to be human.

Well, the Internet is full of trolls. (Who knew?) And out from under their bridge this morning is “Let Me Down,” the rumored first single that’s previously been seen in snips and clips and that leaked in horrendous quality last month. But today’s version actually sounds like a song, not radio static oddly arranged to sound like a Kelly Clarkson single.

The song isn’t not bad at all! Very recent-P!nk. Lots of high belting and busy-without-being-Tedderish drums. It doesn’t have the Announcement! Single! impact of “My Life Would Suck Without You,” but this is very possibly a demo, and with this many leaks/previews/rips, there’s only so much announcing that can be even done anymore. At least it might get her into venues bigger than Microsoft events? Listen below, then read on for lyrics.
