The Popdust Files: glee, Glee Cast, keenan Cahill, viral videos

Popular YouTuber Keenan Cahill is at again, miming and mumbling his way through the newest Katy Perry track that will likely stick with you until early 2012. Many aspiring Internet stars have covered “Last Friday Night” before, yet none have the ability to rope in the professionals like Mr. Cahill does. He’s joined by Glee cast members Dianna Agron, Harry Shum Jr., Jenna Ushkowitz and Darren Criss, who’ve all had experience with raging hangovers this season alone (and who knows when else), for his latest lip dub rendition. Does this mean we can expect “Last Friday Night” on Glee season three? (It wouldn’t be the first Katy Perry cover. Or the third.) Everyone seems to be having a good time—singing about headaches is fun!—as Criss (who makes a cameo in the original video) challenges Cahill to an air saxophone competition, while Agron plops a wet one on the video’s teenage star. Kudos to the Gleeks for busting out their most embarrassing moves, which have momentarily distracted us from the fact that Cahill’s videos usually make us uncomfortable. What can we say, it’s hard to top a neon violin.
