Misconception-clearing time! Twitter does not in fact cause more feuds than whatever rustic, webless past you’re imagining. It just makes it easier for stuff like this to reach a wide audience:

Well then. This, in response to Chris comparing Frank Ocean to R&B singers James Fauntleroy and Kevin Cossom, sparked the back-and-forth you’d expect, led by a “fuck odd future!” and unsurprisingly quickly joined by Tyler, The Creator, and all as lightweight yet somehow venomous as you’d expect. Par for the course!

As far as what it all means, well, there likely will not be any news-baiting Chris Brown/Odd Future collaborations in the immediate future. And as for today, things have either been happy/passive-aggressive…

TEAM AFFILIATION: Well, Frank Ocean repeated his own joke six hours later and laughed at himself. But Chris Brown is responsible for the not entirely positive “Deuces” and “Changed Man.” It’s a toss-up.
