Pitbull, Ne-Yo and Nayer Perform “Give Me Everything” on Leno

If nothing else, Pitbull, Ne-Yo and Nayer’s performance of smash hit “Give Me Everything” on Jay Leno last night serves to illustrate just how freakin’ busy the song is. Two drummers, two synth players—one of whom appears to be playing two separate synths at the same time—and a DJ are all needed for accompaniment. Meanwhile, each of the singers has to grit their way through a great deal of downtime as the other two get in their verses and choruses—especially poor Nayer, who only gets about a half-minute total of gametime, and tries her damnedest to pack an entire song’s worth of sultriness into those 30 seconds. (It doesn’t really work, but the effort’s appreciated.)
Still, the synth players definitely get co-MVP honors. Always the biggest gamers, those synth guys.
