It’s hard to imagine The Voice judge and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine as a shy kid growing up. But perhaps performing Bobby Brown live is a good remedy for social anxiety? Jay Leno dug up old footage of Levine from his earliest performance days, taking on Brown’s “Don’t Be Cruel” at some place called “Closet Stars” Los Angeles. (Leno already beat us to the punchline on that one.) Yes Little Levine is lip syncing, but it’s clear he was just harnessing all of his energy to master Brown’s signature gyrations. Seems to have worked out, right?
