Meet Willow Sage Hart, Pink’s New Baby

The world now has one fewer pregnant pop star and one more pop toddler: P!nk and husband Carey Hart announced that the singer gave birth Thursday to a baby girl, Willow Sage Hart. (Yesterday, there was scuttlebutt online that a certain tweet was about the baby, but come on, that could have been anything.)
Willow Sage Hart. That’s a rather New Agey name, isn’t it? Very “spirit of the forest.” Or perhaps P!nk just wants her daughter to emulate Willow Smith, which is a pretty good move for a 21st century girl who’ll likely end up in a rock band fifteen years down the line.
At any rate, we wish the couple the best of luck! Especially in light of this quote CNN unearthed from way back in November, from the Ellen DeGeneres show post-pregnancy and pre-gender reveal:
“I’m terrified, because she thinks it’s a girl. My mom has always wished me a daughter just like me. I’m terrified! One of us will go to jail.”
