Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Bonus Tracks: “Fashion of His Love”

“Fashion of His Love”
Sounds Like: “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”
Pros: The songs it rips off (yes, plural) were pretty good? Gaga’s still in strong voice? Yeah, we’re stretching.
Cons: It is exactly like “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” chord progression, beat, melody, even the stresses on the lyrics. The parts that aren’t exactly like “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” rip off the chorus and verses of “Born This Way.” There’s a truck driver’s key change. The “fashion of his love” conceit sounds like the first idea you’d brainstorm, then toss out as too obvious, if you were writing a song to make fun of Lady Gaga. Putting “baby, I was born to be his” into the chorus twists the Born This Way message beyond repair. Should we go on? Because we could.
Yearbook Lyric: “I’m physically crafted to be as fitting as McQueen.”
Gaga Hashtags: Loserdom, disco, fashion.
